Downtown LA's happy hour lives in three walkable pockets. The office towers along 7th Street and Bunker Hill empty into bars around Pershing Square. South Park fills up around Crypto.com Arena and LA Live. East of Main, the Historic Core, Little Tokyo, Union Station and the Arts District run older rooms and later windows. Most weekday happy hours start at 3 or 4 PM.
One thing to know before you go: downtown cocktail pricing has climbed. At several bars below the happy hour cocktail is $12 or more, and the real deal is the beer, the wine, or the late-night window. We list the actual prices so you can pick on that.
Every bar here is in Happy Hour Map's Los Angeles data, and each one's happy hour was checked against the bar's own website or menu in October 2026. Where a bar publishes its prices, we list them. Where it doesn't, we give the window and leave the prices off rather than guess. Specials change, so check the map before you head out.
The after-work core, within a ten-minute walk of 7th St/Metro Center. Pick by what you drink. Good Clean Fun is the value play for wine, with $9 pours and spritzes from $5. Bar Clara is the weekday lunch option, running noon to 3. The Liberties opens its weekend window at noon.
Also running happy hour on this side of downtown, with times confirmed but no prices published: Seven Grand, the whiskey bar on 7th (daily 4:00PM - 8:00PM), Golden Gopher on 8th (daily 3:00PM - 8:00PM), Dublin's Irish Pub on 7th (daily 2:00PM - 4:00PM and 8:00PM - 10:00PM), JOEY DTLA (daily 3:00PM - 6:00PM) and Noé at the Omni on Bunker Hill (daily 3:00PM - 6:00PM).
The pre-game neighborhood. Everything here sits within a few blocks of Crypto.com Arena on Figueroa and Olympic, so it fills fast on game and concert nights; arrive before the doors open. 33 Taps has the lowest prices on this side of downtown and runs them again from 9:30 PM to close every night.
Also here: Golden Hour, the rooftop bar on the 8th floor of the Moxy, runs happy hour Thursday and Friday 5:00PM - 7:00PM. It doesn't publish prices.
The east side of downtown, spread out enough that you'll want to pick one stop rather than crawl. Precinct on Broadway has the deepest list in this guide, with $5 drafts through $12 signatures and a Tuesday chicken deal on top. Tony's Saloon is the Arts District's neighborhood bar and runs a second window late Sunday through Tuesday. Traxx sits inside Union Station, so it's the move if you're catching a train.
Also here: Beelman's, the plant-based bar at 6th and Spring, runs happy hour Monday - Friday 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Its prices aren't on its site.
Cheapest beer: 33 Taps, Tony's Saloon or Precinct, all at $5. A cocktail under $10: 33 Taps at $8, or Caña and Fleming's at $9. Wine: Good Clean Fun. Before a game at Crypto.com Arena: South Park, and get there by 6. Late night: 33 Taps from 9:30 PM every night, XLanes from 9 PM Monday to Thursday, Tony's from 11 PM Sunday to Tuesday, or Prank all night on Mondays. Weekend afternoon: The Liberties from noon, Prank from 3, or Traxx and Tony's, which run daily.
Getting there is the easy part downtown. The 7th St/Metro Center, Pershing Square, Pico and Union Station stops put almost every bar above within a short walk, which beats paying for parking by the hour.
